an open letter
Hello!
My name is Anthony Woolstrum. This is my little family, my chickens, my cat Pan, and my dog Apollo.
I love my family, and I want a better world for them than the one we as a society are headed towards today. Don’t get me wrong; I'm not here to complain. I'm here to do something about it.
What kind of world do you want to live in?
I believe in people.
I believe that each person has to cultivate an inner strength to build a world that is stronger, wiser, and more beautiful.
I believe that when people work together, they are better off for it. We were not made to walk this life alone.
I want to be the kind of person that other people want in their world, and I'm looking for people who want to build something beautiful.
What does that mean in practice?
It means that I want to steal the culture. I am trying to bring the dream of tomorrow into the reality of today. How?
At Vistribe, we are creating a living definition of what a beautiful life lived together looks like in practice. We are doing the day-in and day-out practical things it takes to survive and thrive. The work itself gives life purpose, and doing it together builds meaningful connections. This is how you vitalize the world. We're inviting everyone into that reality. Learn more at Vistribe.com >
With the Pay Attention Network, we are creating an ethical internet with healthy boundaries. I believe technology can be used for good or for evil, and right now, it's being used for evil. I want to use it for good instead. I spent a ton of money (actually, all of my money…) to build software tools that could - hopefully, eventually - replace the internet as you know it. Right now, I'm practically giving those tools away. I'm using the tools to launch free to use software products every week, like the tax compliance calendar at undertheboot.com and the graphics creation tool at CreateSymbols.com. I need your help to keep going.
Bringing this dream to life takes time and money. Apollo and my kids like to eat, and bills like to be paid. I am unrelenting in my pursuit of the dream of a better world - we can make it happen! - but I can't do it alone.
If you believe in this vision, please financially support it!
If you have a business, ask me how our tools can help your business today - tools for good!
If you like what we're building, join our communities. Our biggest advantage against the oligarchy is our labor. They may have the money, but we have the talent. Help me build a better world.
